Grambling cheerleaders come in fourth

An array of cheers filled the Ocean Center on Thursday in Daytona Beach, Fla. as the Grambling State University cheerleaders took the stage at the National Cheerleading Association’s cheerleading competition. The competition consists of about 140 teams from all over the nation competing to be judged on crowd involvement, choreography, technique and overall appearance. Full story

Women's, men's basketball teams praised by GSU president

Dr. Frank Pogue held a luncheon at the Assembly Center on March 22 to celebrate the success of this year's men's and women's basketball team. Collectively the two teams were hands down the best we've seen in years and Dr. Pogue wanted to show the teams that the university appreciates them for their achievements.

Football banquet honors players

Mumford Stadium Baton Rouge is where the G-Men football team stepped foot on the field for the last time. The game resulted in a 31-17 lopsided victory for the Tigers. Though the game against The Southern Tigers marked the last victory for the G-Men, success did not stop there.
