GSU Tigers continue to struggle on the mound

Grambling State University’s baseball team continued to struggle on the diamond and its chances to make the Southwestern Athletic Conference tournament are pretty slim.  The Tigers’ record is 14-26 overall and 8-13 in the conference.  Early in the season the GSU baseball team was off to a good start, but as of late they have begun to slip. • Tigers remain winless

  The Tigers of Grambling State University dropped their 22 consecutive game and remains winless for the 2013 season. GSU allowed Texas Southern University to come into Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center and hammer another loss into the record books. The final score of the game was 52-80.

• Lady Tigers loses a heartbreaker by 1

  With only five second left, the Lady Tigers had a chance to end the 10 game winning streak of the Texas Southern University Tigers on Monday night. They fell short by only one point when Joanna Miller was unable to capitalize on the game winning opportunity. GSU drops their second game in a row, 58-59. The Lady Tigers record is currently (3-10 SWAC, 5-20 overall), and are currently sitting in ninth place in the Southwestern Athletic Conference division.
