NAIA event needs volunteers

Volunteer sign-ups are open now for the 2019 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Football Championship events, to be held at Grambling State University’s Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium.

Volunteers will assist with hospitality, concert and gameday events that will welcome more than 7,000 visitors to Lincoln Parish Dec. 17 – 21.

“Hosting the NAIA Football Championship is a fantastic opportunity to show the Lincoln Parish experience that has drawn students and visitors to Grambling for generations,” said Marc Newman, GSU’s vice president of Advancement, Research, and Economic Development.

The volunteer application is now open for individual events which will be held in Lincoln Parish throughout the week leading up to the NAIA Championship.
