GHS creates positive behavior partners with True Care Dental

Jerald Kennedy, assistant principal at Grambling High School, has developed a Positive Behavior Program for the GHS students.

The program rewards students who have demonstrated postive behavior for each month. The program is in its second year at GHS.

Students who qualify for participation in the program are rewarded for excellent behavior, attitude, and work ethic each month.

In November, Dr. Rhonda Pruitt and Khristopher Hobbs from True Care Dental located in both Grambling and Ruston, Louisiana donated food and drinks to the Positive Behavior Program.

True Care Dental has been sponsoring Grambling High School for several years.

Dr. Pruitt also serves as the school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) president.

During the month of October the First National Bank of Ruston, who also serves as a GHS sponsor donated pizza and drinks for all the qualified students.

Reverend Kenneth Sapp, of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Clay, gave the students an encouraging speech to continue to strive for greatness.

The school officicals took  on the responsibility to encourage the students during the month of September.
