Monroe-Grambling Chapter of Links, Inc. to present Arts Festival

The Monroe-Grambling Chapter of the Links, Inc., Arts Festival will be held on Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Ruston, Louisiana. The festival is free to the public.

The Arts Festival is a biennium program sponsored by the local chapter of the Links, Inc., to celebrate the accomplishments and talents of local artist of all disciplines as well as to generate excitement and appreciation for the arts. 

Artists of all types: performing artists, visual artists, applied artists and decorative arts and crafters, etc., are invited to participate. 

The festival provides opportunities for artists of all talent levels to perform and display their art work in a public space, to be appreciated by festival goers. 

There will also be face painting for children of all ages and tables with art supplies for children who are encouraged to create their own works of art.

The mission of the arts facet of the Links, Incorporated, is to increase and expand art activity, and elevate our programs through arts integration and effectively create an arts renaissance within our organization and programmatic efforts.
