“I would say yes that I am concerned for my safety this homecoming season bc yes even though most people have been getting vaccinated that still doesn’t stop you from getting sick and a lot of people don’t really wear their mask anymore so it could be a good chance of catching corona and getting sick.”

“Honestly no, Grambling has been taking serious protocols to ensure our safety. Now you must show a negative covid test 48 hours before an event or a vaccination card! Which is so crucial and vital to our safety this season.”

“I feel like I am a little concerned because people are so against masks and also the vaccine so how can we really stay safe you know? But hopefully everyone at least tries to follow the health guidelines so that way we can have little to none cases on campus and also still have a fun time.”

“No I am not. I am a person who believes that God is my protection from all things seen and unseen. Though I do believe this, I am still fully vaccinated, take elderberry vitamins daily, have almost doubled my fluid intake, and wear a mask when I’m around a lot of people. I want to make sure I’m doing my part in keeping myself healthy and safe, because the Bible says, “faith without works is dead” James 2:17. Even if I do end up catching covid this homecoming this season, I have to trust and believe that I am being protected from something. Even if that something was a little like a car accident.”

“I’m not very worried, I’ve been vaccinated and the school is requiring it now so hopefully it’s going to be a very fun and safe homecoming this year.”
