Talk back: How safe do you feel on campus on a scale of 1 to 10?

How safe do you feel on campus on a scale of 1 to 10?

Nick Hunter, Atlanta Georgia, Junior Psychology major
“I feel generally safe on campus, but I feel about a 5-6 meaning everything is good when nothing is happening, but as soon as something jumps off the law enforcement is nowhere to be found.”

Tariq Craft, Palmdale California, Senior Psychology major
“On a scale of 1-10, I feel a 6 is how safe our campus is. The police are cracking down and reducing some problems on campus, but there is still no cure for party violence.”

Nicholas Marshall, New Orleans Louisiana, Junior
Accounting/Management major
“I’d have to say our campus is a 7 because you can’t stop everything from happening but as students we could do better making sure situations don’t come up in the first place”

Myles Duett, Atlanta Georgia, Senior Mass Communication major
“Grambling is like a 5 because you get what you look for. If you go to every event and you’re in everybody’s face, the greater your chances of being in an unsafe situation.”
