"My plans after graduation are to attend grad school here at Grambling State University and get my masters in Social Work. Grambling State University has helped me grow over the years. I have truly grown since enrolling at Grambling in 2016. Thanks to Grambling I have lifetime sisters and friends.”

Larry Green

Senior / Engineering Technology

Grambling State University

“After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology my plan after college is to attend Louisiana Tech and to receive a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering. During my years at Grambling, I have been given the opportunity to experience multiple people from multiple backgrounds that have the same end goal as me. Grambling State University has taught me that HBCUs are more than just going to college but door openers for people to make their dreams a reality.”

Ian Robinson

Senior / Mass Communication

Monroe, La

“My plans after graduation are uncertain, as of now. I’ve applied for a reporting position at a newspaper in Monroe. Grambling and the Department of Mass Communication, specifically, has molded me into the journalist that I am today. Dr. Morganfield, Mrs. Peters and Mr. Barnett have instilled in me the skills that I need to success as a journalist for any news organization.”

Teyan Cormier

Senior / Criminal Justice

New Iberia, La

“My plan after graduation is to attend grad school at Grambling State University in Psychology or Social Work. I also plan to find a job in the local courthouse in Monroe or Ruston so that I can start my career. Over these 4 years Grambling State University has taught me a lot about myself, what I want to do in the future, and helped me get ready for my career job. I’m glad I was able to attend college, especially a HBCU like Grambling State.”
