Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday

The campus of Grambling State University will be closed in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday on Monday, January 20. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 21.

The Favrot Student Union Board will be hosting a program honoring slain civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 20 at 5:30 p.m. in the Black & Gold Room of the Favrot Student Union.

FSUB General Body Meeting

On Wednesday, January 22, the Favrot Student Union Board are scheduled to have a general body meeting in the Black & Gold Room at 5 p.m. to discuss upcoming events and Tigerfest. 

Louisiana’s Poet Laureate to visit Grambling State University

James Warner Smith, Louisiana’s Poet Laureate, is set to visit Grambling State University on Monday, January 27 at 11  a.m. in the Grambling Hall Auditorium. 

 

TigerFest Auditions 

FSUB will be hosting auditions for the Gospel and Talent Show for Tigerfest on Tuesday, January 28 and Wednesday, January 29 in Rooms 234 and 244 of the Favrot Student Union.

Mardi Gras Formal Ball

On Wednesday, February 19, FSUB will hosting the Mardi Gras Formall at 7 p.m. in the Black & Gold Roon. The ball is formal and includes entertainment from DJ Twins, a violionist, as well as a live band and singers.
