Is celebrating our founders important?

Why is it important to celebrate founders?

It is important to celebrate founders because it gives significant people reorganization and honor for what they have accomplished for us today.

Founders are ordinary people who have felt as though some type of organization, or discoveries should be made to help better our communities, cultures, and well-beings among each other.

For an example, Charles P. Adams is the founder of Grambling State University. It is important for each student to know who founded the university they attend. Without knowing this important information, students would not have pride in their university or even appreciate the work Charles P. Adams put into making Grambling State University the best college for them.

Founders pave a way for each and every individual. Each person is different and would prefer what they see as the best fit for themselves.

Each founder gives different opportunities for the younger generation, as well as the older generation. The different opportunities allow an individual to seek what fits them best first.

For an example, in the National Pan-Hellenic Conference there are nine different major sororities and fraternities for college students. All together each group has its own set of founders.

There are four sororities that are females only and five fraternities that are males only. The significance is that each group is different and holds a different meaning and importance.

The founders created these groups to help unite and bring together brotherhoods and sisterhoods overall. Each group has different founders and each founder should always be recognized and honored because of their hard work and dedication to unite these individuals.

Honoring someone who created openings for many to have jobs and many different other opportunities as far as community involvement would only be right.
