Dear Students:
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Grambling State University for the 2019 Spring semester. You have made an excellent choice in selecting Grambling State University to further your education.
During your matriculation at GSU, I encourage you to study hard and stay focused. Use every available resource and every opportunity to apply yourself in the pursuit of your educational goals.
Should you need assistance at any time, please do not hesitate to contact any one of your caring faculty, staff and administrators, or your student leaders in the Student Government Association. We are here to serve you, to help you, and perhaps to prod you on your journey toward success.
We also encourage you to attend the many academic, cultural and co-curricular activities that are schedule throughout the year for your enrichment and enjoyment. I encourage you to participate in as many of these events as possible.
Whether you are a first-time freshman, a transfer student or a returning student, you are the lifeblood of this institution. All of our efforts are geared toward providing you with a quality learning experience, which results in a successful and rewarding career.
