GUAF to sell luxury car as fundraiser

If you are a die hard Gramblinite interested in owning a piece of GSU history and supporting athletics, this may be just the opportunity for you.

The Grambling University Athletic Foundation (GUAF) is selling the black on black, fully-loaded 2007 BMW driven only by coaches Doug Williams, Rod Broadway and Broderick Fobbs for $14,000 or best offer.

With only 130,000 miles, the 4-door sedan is clean, well maintained and available for immediate viewing.

“Proceeds from the sale of the car will be used to support athletic programs at GSU,” said Coach Doug Porter, GUAF president.

“Our funds are generated solely from membership dues and fundraising efforts,” he said.

Persons interested in purchasing the vehicle or contributing to the GUAF should contact Gloria Smallwood at 318.394.1078.

The GUAF is a nonprofit organization established in 1984 for the primary purpose of enhancing athletics at the university.
