BCM first event a success

Grambling’s Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) kicked off their semester’s first meet and greet Tuesday night September 1 2015 in Grambling Hall.  A variety of students from different religious backgrounds and classifications gathered together for games, worship and fellowship.  The theme for the night was being a super Tiger. Students were also encouraged to reach students through Christ. Connect by building relationships and strengthening their gifts through the mission of Christ.

BCM is held on every Tuesday at 8:00 pm in Grambling hall. This ministry attracts several organizations with the “Spot Light” segment. Where different organizations can come and promote what they are doing on campus. Not only is this a time for students to come together and discuss religious topics. Students can also be real and participate in the “Real Talk” segment, designed for students to talk about some issues they are facing on campus and discuss positive solutions from “Real” perspectives.

Administrated by Lance Wright BCM is a place where students can come together and release the pressures of life weekly. Learn and strengthen their biblical knowledge of the bible and grow in Christ.  Lance Wright “BCM is bigger than a ministry this is a campus movement of God moving through students for his glory.”

Wright stated standing amongst a room full of students worshipping and fellowshipping

“I like my first experience at BCM I love how everybody came together and prayed towards the end” according to Freshman Toniqua Cruz of Winnfield Louisiana.

At the end of the service students were able to enjoy refreshments, engage, laughing and dancing.

“This was a great experience that will get you to examine things that are happening at our collegiate level. The worship experience was the best experience.” Freshman Steven Alexander of Bogalusa, La.
