It is my pleasure to welcome all new and returning students to Grambling State University for the 2015-2016 academic year.

As your new President, I am excited about the upcoming school year and the many opportunities I will have to meet many of you on your path to your ultimate goal – graduation.
You have made an excellent choice in selecting Grambling State University to further your education. We are here to serve you, to help you, and perhaps prod you, on your journey to success.
During your matriculation at GSU, I encourage you to study, work hard and stay focused. Use every available resource and every opportunity to apply yourself in the pursuit of your educational goals. Should you need assistance at any time, please don’t hesitate to contact any of our caring faculty, staff, administrators, as well as your Student Government Association leaders. We are here to help you succeed.
As you move about the campus, you will recognize the beautification projects in bloom. We are depending on you to exhibit “tiger pride” by keeping the campus clean and free of litter and debris, a place that you can be proud of. We also encourage you to have fun and enjoy the many cultural and co-curricular activities that have been planned for your enrichment and enjoyment.
