On Friday evening, Strut LA modeling troupe hosted a fashion show entitled “The Allure” consisting of five scenes.
The hosts of the show were Shelby Prout from New Orleans and Nakita Turner from Ruston. Both DJ twins were in the building on the ones and two’s, keeping the crowd engaged and excited for a promising show.
The models showcased a variety of clothing including formal wear, casual wear, and swimwear. Clothing lines were modeled from a variety of designers who also sold shirts and other urban wear after the show.
Lyrical Quest also made an appearance with a performance by Mionne Featherstone of her original song “Save Me” between scenes.
Strut LA made sure to thank their entire eboard for putting the show together including the president, vice president, and show director.
Shreveport kinesiology major Teonna Watson said “I thought the show was good and the models got dressed in a timely fashion between scenes. The hosts were really entertaining as well.”
Rasheed Jackson, who’s a sophomore, said “The show was pretty good and I think the most memorable part was the swimwear scene.”
