The end of the semester is quickly approaching and Grambling State University’s Office of Retention is offering tutoring for students that need extra help in their studies.
The subjects of chemistry, biology, science and mathematics will all be tutored to students in need. This is the time of the semester when students are hitting the books the hardest and might need an extra bit of help that they may not readily have coming from teachers or other students trying to help.
On Mondays, chemistry, Biology 103 and 105, Science 105 and Math 147 and 148 tutoring will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again at 5 p.m. These sessions will be held under the direction of Rochelle Joseph who can be contacted at rochellecj@gmail.com. On Wednesdays, the sessions run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again at 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Tutoring for Math 147 and 148, English 101 and 102, and Computer Information Systems will be Monday Wednesday, and Friday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again at 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Tuesdays and Thursdays sessions will be from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. For more information on these specific sessions, contact Jazmyne Lewis at jazmynelewis@gmail.com.
The last of the tutoring sessions that cover Math 147 and 148 and English 101 and 102 are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. On Tuesdays, the sessions are from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. On Thursdays sessions will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information on these specific sessions, contact Jocinda Jackson at Jacksonjocinda@yahoo.com.
