Spectator bus, auditions among coming FSUB-sponsored events

The Favrot Student Union Board will host a number of activities during the month of February.

The spectator bus to Baton Rouge has been cancelled.

Miss Cover Girl will present “Upholding Your Inner Queen” featuring Tamara Marshall, executive assistant to the president of Grambling. The event will be held on Monday, Feb. 9 in the Black and Gold Room at 6 p.m.

The Tigerfest Talent Show and Event Host auditions will be held in the T.H. Harris Auditorium at 7 p.m. on Feb. 9 and Feb. 12. Talent show winners will receive the following: $200 First Place, $150 Second Place and $100 Third Place.

Hot Topics and Hot Chocolate event hosted by the hospitality committee will be held Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. in the Black and Gold Room.

A Mardi Gras Parade and Mask Decorating Parade will begin at 5 p.m. on Main St., Mask Decorating will begin immediately following the parade in the Black and Gold Room Wednesday, Feb. 11.

A Speed Dating event will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12 in the Favrot Student Union Room 242.
