Classes were closed for two days at Grambling State University as a severe ice storm covered the roads, trees, cars and homes in Grambling and surrounding areas. The university declared the campus closed Monday evening with storms being forecast for later that night. It wasn’t until Tuesday where the weather was at its worst with precipitation changing from rain to sleet to ice and even to snow.
