The Queen Bee of hip- hop/R&B surprised her fan base by releasing her latest album Dec. 13 at midnight on iTunes.
Beyoncé sold 80,000 cop- ies in the first three hours, according to Billboard. Apple reported that it sold 828,773 copies in three days on iTunes.
Let’s recap: Beyoncé’s 4 in 2011 sold 1.39 million copies; 2008’s I am … Sasha Fierce sold 3.12 million copies; B-Day in 2006 sold 3.36 million; and Dangerously in Love in 2003 sold 4.91, says USA Today.

All of her albums have hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts. Her fifth and most recent al- bum has topped her previous
album 4 and it is still on the rise in sales.

The public is giving Beyoncé, with its 14 tracks and 17 videos, great reviews.

Last night I listened to Beyoncé from beginning to end. Listening to Beyoncé, you can sense that she was influenced by a number of musical styles and artists.
In the track “Bow Down,” Beyoncé demonstrates and out-of-this-world operatic side. Beyoncé is one of the first albums she has dropped where she raps in her music. That has to gain her some re- spect from those fans as well.

My favorite part of the album is the visual aspect, the Pepsi commercial track “Grown Woman” reminds meofwhenIwouldgoto Fuel Nightclub and Wallstreet Nightclub in Columbus,Ohio.

They would have performers lip sync to any song of their choice for money.
She wows her fan base with the vogue/pop and reggae inspirations and continues to keep her originality and perspective alive as a new mother in the industry. Roc Nation produced 85 percent of this fifth album, and several contributions were made from Pharell, Justin Timber- lake and Miguel.
Beyoncé has sold more than 1 million copies of Be- yoncé worldwide on iTunes.

According to thatgrape– juice.net, Beyoncé is 2013’s No. 24 biggest-selling album in the U.S., quite an accomplishment for an album that was released less than three weeks before the news year.

Beyoncé album sales are be- tween Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines and Kanye West’s Yeezus. Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience remains 2013’s top- selling album with 2.4 million sold. It was the only album to move more than 2 million copies in 2013.
