Rising Junior Exam requirements explained

 

The center for academic assessment will host the Rising Junior Examination Orientation Monday in the Grambling Hall Auditorium. 

Students whose last name beginning with A-L  will go at 9:30 a.m. and M-Z will be seen at 1:30 p.m. Students unable to attend orientation on Monday may attend on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Grambling Hall Auditorium. All students are required to attend at least one orientation session. 

The purpose of RJE orientation is to provide registrants with information about the test process.  The RJE is a mandatory requirement for graduation.

The proctored online test is scheduled for Oct. 16 until Nov. 5 in the Testing Center Charles P. Adams, Room 322. 

Requirements for examination includes: students being registered in GET 300 via the registrars office, and students must be scheduled to take the exam. Students may schedule by logging on Banner Web.  

Steps for Banner Web Registration: Log on to Banner Web, click on students followed by testing center link, registration, complete registration form. Then scroll down to bottom, select choose day and time to take exam and get registration confirmation. Procedure for making up missed exam; If you miss your test date/tie and space is available, you may test on a “first come first serve” basis as a “standby” at 8:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. Students are not allowed to register through Banner more than once. 

Students must bring a current valid official photo ID, at least two No. 2 pencils and  a four-function non-graphing calculator is optional.
