The Grambling State softball team returns after a 10-day road trip to Florida and Alabama.

The Lady Tigers played a total of ten games while on the road. Defeating Howard University, South Carolina State University, and University of Detroit Mercy.

“We had the chance to win all our games, it was just the lack of executing at the right times. We came back knowing what we needed to work on not just individually but, as a team to prepare us for future games to come. With that we should be well prepared for our conference games.”- Ashley Skinner sophomore, third baseman.

Three of the Lady Tigers hit home runs: junior pitcher, Angela Perez, senior outfielder Mikiesha Henson, and sophomore catcher Hilary Velasquez had two.

The Lady Tigers next game is March 20 at Southern Arkansas University.
