Everybody loves the weekend. Well, you don’t have to wait until Thursday to enjoy that wonderful feeling; you can enjoy it everyday. Twenty-two year old Canadian recording artist Abel Tesfaye, also known as the Weeknd released his debut album titled Trilogy.

The Weeknd’s album, which dropped on Nov. 13 under Universal Republic, mostly contains songs we’ve all heard and enjoyed.

Tesfaye compiled all the songs from his mixtapes: House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence. He then also added three new bonus tracks “Twenty Eight,” “Valerie,” and “Till Dawn (Here Comes the Sun), to produce a 30 track triple disc album.

Juicy J and Drake are the only features on the album and that’s all that’s needed.  This album will reveal why The Weeknd is one of the more creative new rhythm and blues artist’s in the industry.

The Weeknd is nothing like the contemporary R&B artist that we are familiar with. He doesn’t make traditional love songs, he makes sexy seductive songs that gets you in the zone and puts you in the mood.
