Grambling State University cheerleaders, under the leadership of coach Terry Lilly, attended the National Cheerleader Association Championship in Daytona Beach, Fla., on April 5-10. Grambling participated in Division I semifinals along with Prairie View A&M University, the University of Central Arkansas, and Stephen F. Austin, Weber State and George Washington universities.
On April 7, the GSU cheerleaders advanced to finals, and on April 8 placed fourth overall in Division I.
