Academic assessment to hold Rising Junior Exam Orientation

The Grambling State University Center for Academic Assessment will host a Rising Junior Examination Orientation on Monday, March 14 at 10 a.m. (Alphabets A-L), 2 p.m. (Alphabets M-Z) and March 15 at 11 a.m. (for students who cannot attend on Monday) in the Nursing Building Auditorium. Students are required to attend only one section.

All students registered for GET 300 should be in attendance to receive test content information and to become familiar with the exam scheduling process. The RJE is a mandatory graduation requirement.

Rising Junior Examination for first-time takers (retakes are suspended) will take place March 16 until March 31 at the Testing Center, Charles P. Adams, Room 322.

The requirements are: being registered in GET 300 and scheduled for exam (log on banner web, click student, testing center link, registration, complete form and choose day/time).

Students should bring the following items; a current official photo ID (GSU ID, passport, driver’s license), pencils and optional: four function non-graphing calculator.

Absolutely no cell phones/electronic devices, reading materials, book bags, purses, food and beverages allowed in testing sites.

You will be dismissed from the site(s) if there are any infractions.

You are responsible for securing a place for your belongings prior to arriving in the testing sites.
