The Junior Class officers will be hosting a variety of seminars and social events this semester, and they would like the entire student body to join them.
The events include:Feb. 16, Junior Day on the yard. From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. electives will pass out heart health pamphlets and information on speed dating. Following that will be a movie night in the Student Union theatre at 6-8 p.m. on Feb. 17, in the Black & Gold Room in Favrot Student Union.
The Junior Class will host a “Grambling Grammys Ball” from 7-10 p.m. where students dress as their favorite celebrity.
On Feb. 23, March 16 and April 13, a class meeting will be held in the Student Union Room 242 at 5-6 p.m.
Junior Week will be March 21-25.
On March 24, a Breaking Down the Walls-themed seminar will be held in the Student Union, Room 244 from 7-8 p.m.
“As the Junior Class president, I extend my welcoming arms to invite the entire student body to join my elected board and I, as we kick off a productive spring semester,” said Channing Gaulden, a marketing major of San Jose, Calif.
