SGA president shares opportunities

Greetings,I am Lamark Hughes your Student Government Association President. I would like to welcome all incoming freshman, returning students and our new BPCC at Grambling students.

It is my pleasure to communicate with you as we begin our spring 2011 semester. The 2010-2011 SGA Administration should prove to be a very productive and efficient team.

It is my desire as SGA president to continue to build upon our motto of excellence through service as we strive to promote the general welfare of our student body.

Exciting things are happening at Grambling State University and SGA is at the pulse of that excitement. As we continue into a phase in GSU history with the President, Dr. Frank Pogue’s platform “A New Beginning,” it is important that we adequately represent the needs and concerns of the student body.

We, the SGA, look forward to working with each student as we strive for excellence. I hope that you all have enjoyed your winter break and are anticipating a productive semester.

The SGA hopes that you are happy and content as we pursue a new semester which brings new ideas, policies, and objectives. We are also looking for some student leaders to fill some positions.
