Grambling State University Tigers held an after party to celebrate the State Farm Bayou Classic victorious win of 38 to 17 over Southern. As Kingi Knox hosted red carpet interviews at Grambling’s official after party. Among the supporters were DJ Raj Smoove. Kingi talked to GSU football players, Alpha Phi Apha Step Show winners, politicians, celebrities, and fans. Kingi Knox was the mistress of Ceremonies of the Eddie G. Robinson museum opening dedication in Febuary. She is also a Grambling State University alum.
Recently, Kingi hosted BET 106 & Park presents Blaze the Stage, where artists showcase their talent in an urban American idol competition. Kingi interviewed Casting Director and Writer of BET’s 106 & Park, Pat Charles, as he shared how excited he is to make people dreams come true as they rap, sing, and dance to urban beats on BET as they show the world why they are HOT!!! Blaze the Stage producer, Mike Robinson, believes that before you can showcase your talent your good grades must come first.
She has interviewed celebrities at MTV VMAs such as Chris Brown, Akon, Heavy D, and Fat Man Scoop & Shanda, the cast of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, Bobby Valentino, Webbie, and Rick Ross at Grambling State University’s homecoming for Speedy’s Comedy Corner on Jamie Foxx FOXXHOLE on Sirius/XM satellite.
