Student Affairs sends out call to all organizations

The Division of Student Affairs and Lyceum Series will host a high energy, substantive, and highly interactive Student Leadership Development Seminar featuring Dr. Lee Jones. The presentation will be held Oct. 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the School of Nursing Auditorium.Dr. Jones will articulate how Greek and Non-Greek student organizations exemplify more than just stepping, chanting, and moving to the beat. He will also address how bullying affects student victims and the institution.

Dr. Lee Jones currently serves as professor and president and executive editor of InSpire Magazine and executive director of the InSpire ILEAD Institute.

Most recently, he served as the dean of The School of Graduate Studies and professor of Educational Foundations at The University of Wisconsin at Whitewater.

He served as a member of the Provost Administrative Team and manages a 3.2 million dollar operating budget.

He is the founder of 100 Black Men of Ohio State University and Washington State University.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Delaware State University, in Drama, Speech, Communication, and Theater.

While at DSU he was elected president of the student body.

He has a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration, a Master of Arts degree in business and administration, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Development from The Ohio State University.

Dr. Jones is known as an author, professor, and motivational speaker. He is a respected scholar in higher education and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. producer and host of Your Voice T.V. Talk Show.
