SGA Update

The Student Government Association hosted the State of the Union Address Wednesday night in the Black and Gold Room.

Key points from the address:
n The library fee that the student body shot down, will be revisited by the state, according to SGA President Lamark Hughes.

The fee, had it been supported, would have cost full-time students $25 per semester.During the same election cycle, the student body supported an $8 per semester band fee.
n Students are putting their transportation fees to good use. Nearly 1400 students have used the shuttle system.

n A graduate seminar will be held in conjunction with Kaplan University on Oct. 16 in the Nursing Building.
