Now that you have enrolled at GSU, you are a beneficiary of all that this prestigious university has to offer. Use every available resource and every appropriate moment to apply yourself and your talents to the task at hand. Whether you are a first-time freshman or a transfer student, you are the lifeblood of this institution. Therefore, all of our efforts are geared toward providing you with the best quality overall learning experience. A variety of academic, cultural and co-curricula activities have been planned for your enrichment and enjoyment. We hope you will make plans to attend as many of these events and activities as possible.
Our theme for the 2010-2011 academic year is “A New Beginning”. We will embrace the past and continue to build on the strengths and accomplishments of this university. This year will be challenging, yet rewarding in so many ways. We will face each challenge as a family and continue to preserve the history, heritage, traditions, and core values of Grambling State University.
