Sports Perspective

Who’s going to win the NBA championship? Will it be the Lakers or Celtics? It seems as if Los Angeles has the advantage.Although my team the Cavaliers lost to the Celtics 94 – 85. James finished strong with a triple double he had 27 points 10 assist and19 rebounds, but he needs help Mo Williams scored 20 of his 22 in the fist half. No one else showed up to play. For the last two seasons the Cavaliers held the best record in the league, but when the playoffs come around, they just can’t seem to get it together.

Therefore I believe that it’s the coaching and the players. The coaching has done a bad job by rotating the players poorly, and players are not helping James on the offensive end.

Everyone thought it would be Kobe and Lebron that would meet in the finals, but it seems Lebron can’t make it. Now Lebron and the Cavaliers will have to watch the Finals. While the Lakers and the Celtics battle it out to see who will be the 2010 NBA Champs.

As of right now the Lak ers lead the series with a record of 2-1 with home court advantage in their favor overall.

Game one was June 3. The Lakers defeated the Celtics 102 – 89. Kobe Bryant scored 30 points; Gasol scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds while Ron Artest added 15 points.

Game two was June 6. Celtic’s Ray Allen hit 7 three pointers in the first half, coming up with 27 points by the end of the first half, he finished with 32 points. Rajon Rondo helped out with a triple double he had 19 points 12 rebounds 10 assist, and two steals.

The same two teams met in 2008 finals, where the Celtics dominated the Lakers in 6 games but it is 2010 and the Lakers feel it will be a different series.
Both teams have new players who they need to help out and make it a different series.
The Lakers picked up Ron Artest, the 2003 – 2004 defensive player of the year, but will he help or hurt them? I want to see the match up between Ron Artest and Paul Peirce.

Andrew Bynum was hurt and could not participate in the 2007- 2008 finals. Even though he is playing in this series his knee is shaky, the Lakers were out rebounded in the previous series. If something would happen to Bynum again the Lakers could once again struggle.

While the Celtics have added Rasheed Wallace and Nate Robinson to come off bench with lots of energy. During the regular season were the best in the west, the Celtics fell off in the second half of the season finishing fourth in the east.

Tonight at 8 p.m. the teams will meet once again for game four.
