Engineering Technology gets iNARTE accreditation

The International Association for Radio, Telecommunications and Electromagnetics, Inc. (iNARTE) has recently certified Grambling State University as an iNARTE accredited university. GSU will now be posted on iNARTE’s Web Site under accredited universities and Training Institutes.As an iNARTE officially Accredited University, GSU is recognized as offering BS degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) with substantial course material pertinent to one or more of the iNARTE disciplines and from which graduates are qualified to enter a career in industry for which iNARTE offers validation of credentials.

Upon completion of the course work, EET graduates qualify for iNARTE Certification without further examination. They are eligible to join iNARTE as a Junior Engineer within the Telecommunications sector or as an Associate Engineer in EMC, ESD and /or Product Safety sectors.

Grambling State University has also met the requirements of the iNARTE and is declared to be an authorized testing center for FCC commercial license examinations and iNARTE certification exams for professional engineers.

Dr. Shueh-Ji Lee, professor/EET program coordinator, Department of Engineering Technology, is the designated facilitator for iNARTE license/certification examinations.
