Around 1:20 p.m. today three sophomore were involved in a car accident. The driver’s name was Diona Jones who suffered a minor cut below her eye. Passengers Jaquia Reid and Latonya Copeland weren’t harmed. While coming around the corner toward Long Jones Hall, Jones had an asthma attack, blacked out and run her Jeep into the building in front of the cashiers office.
Campus police and Facilities services quickly rushed to the scene to ensure that injuries weren’t serious.
After watching her car get pulled from the bushes, Jones, Reid and Copeland retrieved their ID’s and headed to the hospital to get checked.
