Dr. Frances Staten has initiated a $1 fundraising project in her sociology/social science classes to benefit Haiti’s earthquake victims. Students have been provided an envelope for their monetary donations and will ask five people on a weekly basis to contribute $1. The intent is to raise more than $1,000 with the support of other club advisers and professors.
Fundraising materials are available in Woodson Hall rooms 105 and 235.
