Posted at 4:15 on Nov. 6Grambling’s World Famed Tiger Marching Band has been involved in an accident, according to several Facebook statuses and texts to Gramblinite staff.
Details are still sketchy right now, but according to former World Famed member Binaca Mason, Bus 4 ran into Bus 3, which made Bus 3 run into Bus 2.
According ArkansasMatters.com, 13 of the Grambling band members were hospitalized, but none of the injuries are serious. ArkansasMatters.com also reported that the accident occurred between 2:30 and 2:45 p.m. along Highway 167 north of Fordyce.
The World Famed was making their trip to the Delta 4 Literacy Classic football game featuring University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions against the Grambling State University Tigers when the accident occurred.
The World Famed will still perform at the game on Saturday.
