An “Old School Reunion” will be held at Grambling Lab High School gymnasium on Friday, Oct. 30 at 9:30 p.m.
Nouvelle, Leech and The Gang and The Funky Horns featuring Prentiss Lewis will be the main attraction. The admission is $10 and proceeds will benefit the Grambling High School Education Fund. Leech and The Gang was produced in the 1970s under the direction of Charles Young, then band director at GHS. The group performed at high school and college talent shows. With the assistance of Mr. Eddie Henderson, who at that time was director of the Student Union and events at GSU, the group performed on stage with Blood Stone and the Temptations.
All Grambling Lab High School graduates are asked to come out and rekindle the Grambling Lab High School “Old School” tradition.
