The Grambling State University Favrot Student Union Board wishes to introduce its executive board, members who work toward providing substantial social and academic activities for the students.President Mekayel Luke is a senior from the Caribbean island of Dominica. He is a mass communication and marketing student, and a member of the Gamma Psi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. He said, he looks forward to working hand in hand with students, while delivering wholesome student-oriented activities.
Latrice Monique Richard, the vice president, said her door is always open to student needs and concerns. She urged everyone to get involved with the Favrot Student Union Board.
Administrative assistant Kurlyn Honor is a senior mass communication major with a minor in marketing from Dominica. She also serves as the secretary for the National Society of Leadership and Success on the Grambling State University campus.
Metria McCall, the business manager, was born in Ruston, and reared in Portland, Ore. She is a marketing major with a minor in French and Spanish and began her matriculation at GSU in fall 2007. She previously served as the publicity co-chair on the FSUB.
The board encourages students to submit suggestions and share comments about upcoming activities.
