After nearly an hour delay, Steven Jackson was announced the winner of the SGA Presidential race this afternoon. Ahvery Thomas was also announced the winner of the Miss Grambling race.Steven Jackson beat the second-closest candidate, Dean-Julien Weatherly by 38 votes. Weatherly garnered 374 votes. Alonzo Blalock came in third, garnering 338 votes, while Christopher Hughes garnered 231 votes.
Ahvery Thomas beat the second-closest candidate, Tierra Walters by 178 votes. Walters puled in 376 votes, while Kurlyn Honré garnered 275 votes. Blythe Dennis pulled in 167 votes.
