SGA nominations, election on the horizon

The Student Government Association will be holding its Nominations Interest Meeting at 5 p.m. Monday in Grambling Hall Auditorium . It is mandatory for potential candidates for any position in the SGA or the Royal Court to attend the meeting.

In the event of an absence, a valid excuse must be submitted in advance to Elections Commissioner Jenita Blue.

The Nomination Convention will be held on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Grambling Hall Auditorium.

Candidates must be in attendance in order to be nominated for any position. Punctuality is important, as once the floor closes for nominations, they will not be reopened.

In the event of an absence, a valid excuse must be submitted in advance to Blue, stating the reason for the potential candidate’s absence and what position the candidate is running for.

Any excused candidate must still have someone present at the convention in order to nominate that candidate.

Online voting begins on April 1.
