Run Date: 11/09/08The Lady Tigers made an impressive debut, as they blew out Huston Tillotson 91-63 in an exhibition game on Sunday afternoon.

Even after winning by 28 points, Grambling head coach Donnita Drain feels that her team still has a lot of work to do. Drain said that she graded the team’s performance as a D+.

Drain said that the team needs to work on fouls, making easy baskets and not giving the team so many easy shots.

Drain was pleased the efforts of Secret Anderson (13 points and four rebounds) and Krystal Huggins (12 points and 12 rebounds).

Huston Tillotson trailed on by 10 points at the half, however because of missed shots and turnovers; they never got back in the game. Tillotson’s Kevetta Williams led all scorers with 21 points.
