With the election coming closer more and more people are starting to for fear the safety of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and his family. This fear may be justified.White supremacists Daniel Cowart, 20, and Paul Schlesselman, 18, were arrested Monday night in Tennessee for planning to kill 88 people, beheading 14 African Americans and killing Obama.
The two neo-Nazi skinheads met over the Internet about a month ago, they disgusted how they were going to steal guns and dress in all white tuxedos and tops hats during their attempt to assassinate Obama.
They chose the numbers 88 and 14 because they have a meaning to the letter “H” is the eighth letter in the alphabet, so 88 stands for HH or “Heil Hitler.”
The significance of the 14 is because of the 14 words: We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.
According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, at the time of their arrest, Cowart and Schlesselman had in their possession a rifle, sawed-off shotgun and three pistols.
The men remain in federal custody. Their attorneys have asked for more time to prepare their case.
