G-Men victorious again, beating the Delta Devils

After a 28-14 offensive shootout in the first half, the G-Men managed to pull away the from the Delta Devils in the second half and win 35-14.GSU (7-2, 4-0) offensive unit gained 512 total yards (285 rushing yards and 227 passing yards).

Leading the way for the offense again was quarterback Greg Dillon, who accounted from 284 yards (133 rushing and 151 passing).

Also backup quarterback J.P. Tillman went 7-9 for 76 yards. Tillman led an impressive 11-play 80 yard drive. Runningback Cornelius Walker had a solid performance with nine carries for 70 yards.

Despite giving up 396 passing yards to Mississippi Valley (2-6, 0-4), the Tigers defense held the Delta Devils to 2-6 in the red zone.

Every week GSU head Coach Rod Broadway, talks about stopping the run and they did. The defense only allowed the Delta Devils to gain 15 yards on the ground.

The defense also came up with two interceptions. Leading the way for the defense was Jeffery Jack with seven tackles and TJ McCord with six tackles.

The G-Men will travel to Little Rock this week to face University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Tip off time is set for 4.p.m.
