The 41st Annual Career Fair was held earlier today. Representatives from over 40 companies and businesses were on hand, including American Airlines, Chevron, Dallas Police Department, Day Springs Behavioral Health Services, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, IBM, and Tower Loans. Recruiters from Arkansas State University, University of Arkansas, LSUHSC School of Public Health, and Southern University Law Center were there for those who were interested in graduate school. The Graduate Fair for seniors graduating in December will be held Wednesday, Oct. 29 in the Black and Gold Room from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. A representative from Balfour will be there to take ring orders. This is the only day that Balfour will be on campus, so if you plan to graduate in December and want a ring, make sure you see their representative before 4 p.m.
There will also be someone there to take orders for graduation announcements and invitations. You will also be able to order a customized frame for your diploma. Career services, alumni relations, and a representative from the registrar’s office will be on hand at this event as well. Again the Graduate Fair is ONLY for those who are graduating in December.
Our next class meeting will be on Monday, in Room 243 at 6 p.m. Mrs. Lewis from the registrar’s office will be there to go over graduation requirements and the proper procedure for filling out and submitting the graduation applications.
