IMS auditions, sets show

The International Model Society (IMS) began their first round of auditions on Sept. 16, for those hoping to become part of the modeling troupe. When asked why she showed up for the audition, Alicia Mitchelle, a freshman from Chicago, stated, “This is one of the better groups.”

IMS boasts professional fashion show experience, through the work of Mekayel Luke.

“Over the summer, our president gained valuable experience at a fashion show in New York,” said troupe member Kurlyn HonorŠ.

She went on further to explain that Luke even had the opportunity to work with former Top Model contestants.

HonorŠ, who organizes the group’s shows and works with the models, declared that the organization is better organized this semester.

The society will be put to the test on Wednesday, Nov. 19 when the group launches its first show, “Fashionable by Association” to be held in the Men’s Gym.
