GSU closes due to Hurricane Gustav

Grambling State University has canceled classes for Tuesday and Wednesday due to Hurricane Gustav. GSU joins ULM and other schools throughout the state in canceling classes due to the dangers of Hurricane Gustav.Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal issued an executive order to close various (K-12) school districts earlier this week. Thirty-two school districts have been announced for closure Tuesday, September 2 and Wednesday, September 3.

Weather.com is predicting wind gusts up to 50 MPH due to the hurricane by Tuesday. Heavy rain is expected to hit the area on Tuesday and Wednesday, making it possible for flooding in various areas.
