Six-credit trip to Costa Rica planned

The Department of Foreign Languages, as part of its Spanish Summer 2008 Program, is organizing a trip to Costa Rica from June 2-28 that will be worth six credit hours at GSU.
The trip to the “Land of Paradise” includes round-trip airfare, 11 excursions, room and board (breakfast and dinner with free laundry service), tuition and textbooks.The trip will cost approximately $3,898. The breakdown of the approximate cost per student is: four weeks of classes with excursions, $1,540; home-stay for four weeks, $520; round-trip airfare from Monroe to San Jose, Costa Rica, $930; airport exit tax in Costa Rica, $26; and GSU tuition for six credit hours, $882.

There is a $200 deposit required, with the remainder of the cost to be paid by April 15.
