It may be Michael Lyons’ 30th and final season of coaching Grambling High School, but the results so far are about the same, the Kittens still continue to have success under the legendary head coach.The Kittens reached the quarterfinal round by beating Bernice 65-63 at home Tuesday night.
Grambling High was lead by this years senior class which includes Nicholas Chaney, Brice Hill and Justin Rogers.
The Kittens won their bi-district game Friday night against St. Edmund, 76-43.
Grambling finished last season with a 24-2 record but lost in the semi-finals at the Top 28 Tournament.
The Kittens next game is scheduled for Friday at home aganist White Castle High School beginning at 7 p.m.
Their record at the end of the regular season was 18-4.
