Campus to host Carrer Fair, Graduate Expo

The Office of Career Services will sponsor its 2008 Career Fair and Graduate/Professional School Expo from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday in the Men’s Memorial Gymnasium on campus. An opening reception will be held tonight at 6 in the Black & Gold Room in Favrot Student Union. All faculty, staff and students of all majors are invited to attend the reception and career fair.

Students interested in full-time positions, internships, co-ops, graduate or professional schools should not miss this chance to discuss career opportunities with numerous companies and graduate schools.

There are positions available for all majors! Some of the companies that are already registered include the Bureau of Alcohol, American Airlines, IBM, Aerospace Corporation, Dallas Police Department, Navistar, NAVSEA Warfare Centers, Texas Instruments, CLECO, and many more.

Some of our graduate/professional schools include: Jackson State University, Southern University Law Center, Northwestern State University, Arkansas State University, University of St. Augustine and several more.

Student must bring a resume, and professional dress is required.

The campuswide Career Fair is a Clayton A. Wiley Engineering Week Activity. Formerly known as the Technical Job Fair, the event has grown from an Engineering Technology Job Fair to a university Career Fair and Graduate/Professional School Exposition encompassing all majors and all students.
