The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. in the T.H. Harris Auditorium. Speaker for the event will be Theron Jackson, former Shreveport City councilman and current special assistant to the chancellor at Southern University in Shreveport. Aldd Kwame Cyril of KGRM 91.5 FM will serve as the host for the celebration. The program will also feature choirs from Grambling State and Wossman High School in Monroe, along with guest choirs. Louisiana Tech SGA and Student Union Board will also be in attendance.
