Multiple choice

Here’s the scenario: The rent is due, your car just broke down, Grambling says you owe them money, your parents are at your throat, the money you’re making is spent before it’s ever put in your hand and there’s just not enough time in a day to do everything that has to be done. What are you going to do? A. Be depressed or B. Look UP for help. I hope you chose B. From experience being depressed over your current situations is not going to do anything to make the situation better, in fact it might make it worse.

Why not look at all of the positive things that are going on in your life, your alive, breathing and healthy. It may take practice and patience, but looking at the positive will give you the motivation to carry on. I was always told, that it is when we are in our darkest situations when we hear and feel God the most. That’s true. Trials only come to bring blessings! Don’t we all like blessings?

The next time you are up to your ears with problems, look UP for help, keep a smile on your face and speak with authority. Keep this in mind, you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish when God puts a little pressure on you and you get out of that safe zone and step into the faith zone (Joel Osteen). Be Blessed!
